With a global presence in China, the United States, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom and Hong Kong SAR, SANAN's products are widely used in applications like infrared sensing, high-speed rail, new energy vehicles, 5G, smart mobile terminals, 3D identification, cloud computing, communications base stations, solar inverters, and others.

    With a strong global technical team and continuous investments in advanced manufacturing equipment, SANAN Optoelectronics keeps on challenging world-class research projects and expanding its intellectual properties, to support its global customers aiming to build a world of the "Internet of Things".

      SANAN and STMicroelectronics Joint Venture, AN-STMicroelectronics Co. , Ltd. was founded

      Chinese First SiC vertical integration production line was established in Hunan SANAN

      SANAN project named "Key technology and industrialization of solid-state lighting with high luminous efficiency and long service life" was awarded the First Prize in the National Science Progress Award

      Hunan SANAN Semiconductor Co., Ltd. was founded

      Beijing SANAN Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. was founded

      SANAN project named "Enterprise standard Light emitting diode thin film chip (Q/SAGD 009-2012)" was awarded the First Prize of Fujian Province Standards Contribution

      SANAN project named "Gallium nitride base ultraviolet and dark ultraviolet LED key technology" was awarded the Second Prize in the National Science Progress Award

      Xiamen SANAN Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. was foundedXiamen 

      SANAN Integrated Circuit Co., Ltd. was founded

    • 2013

      The company completed the 100% acquisition of Luminus Devices, Inc. in Boston, USA.

       SANAN was awarded by the government "The National Technological Innovation Model Enterprise". It was the first company in Xiamen to be awarded such an honorary title

      SANAN trademark is honored as the "China Famous Brand" by the State Administration of Industry and Commerce

      SANAN project named "A type of light emitting diode with stereoscopic space distributed electrode and its manufacturing method" was awarded China Patent Excellence Award

      Fujian Jingan Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. was founded

    • 2010

      Anhui SANAN Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. was founded.

      The company was awarded "Model Enterprise" for "Key Driver for Technology Commercialization"

      SANAN was honorably listed in "Best 100 Market Value Management of Listed Companies in China", and Lin Xiucheng, the founder of SANAN, was awarded the "China Best Wealth Creation Leader Award"

      The Project "RS-B1 high brightness power red light emitting diode chip" of the company passed the audit, certify to be the domestic first innovation, and key performances of the product achieved international level

      The company was publicly listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code: 600703)

      SANAN was awarded ISO14001: 2004 Certificate of Environmental Management System Certification

      The Technology Center of the company was awarded the "National-level Enterprise Technology Center" title

      Tianjin SANAN Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. was founded

      SANAN was granted by National Development and Reform Commission as the "National High-tech Industrialization Demonstration Project"

      The company's product, the "Substrate transferred red power LED product", passed the audit and certify to be the first domestic product of the same type

    • 2006

      The company was officially approved by the Ministry of Personnel to establish post-doctoral scientific research station, carrying out post-doctoral scientific research work

      SANAN was awarded ISO9001: 2000 Certificate of Quality Management System

      The company developed and manufactured LED chips with its own proprietary intellectual property rights, ending the history of China's total reliance on the importation of LED chips
